How to prepare for your appointment

  • Hair in the treatment and gel pad area may need to be shaved.

  • Be well hydrated prior to treatment.

  • Body piercings may need to be removed if under or near the treatment area.

  • Refrain from alcoholic beverages, caffeine, and fatty foods during the treatment regimen.

  • Exercise is not recommended on the day of treatment.

  • Notify the clinic of any changes to your health history or medications since your last appointment.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time.

  • The treatment should take approximately 45 minutes.

  • No numbing is required. Patients may feel mild discomfort with the contractions.

  • The treatment can be personalized for your fitness level and tolerance.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT

Post-procedure, patients may notice tingling in the areas treated for up to a few hours and/or slight muscle soreness or tenderness 24-72 hours.

 

  • Frequent urination and/or bowel stimulation may be caused b,y the procedure.

  • Tingling in the area/s treated up to a few hours after the procedure.

  • Slight muscle soreness/tenderness 24-72 hours after the procedure.

  • Random muscle contraction after the procedure.

  • Slimming in the area is treated for up to 48 hours after the procedure.

  • An increase in metabolic rate results in feeling hungry more frequently. Please be aware of this fact and DO NOT overeat.

  • Burns beneath the electrodes have been reported with the use of powered muscle stimulators.

HOW does it WORK?

Up to eight areas can be treated in one 45-minute session. As the treatment begins, patients feel a gentle contraction sensation and, as the intensity slowly increases, the muscle contraction intensifies. The results are even and consistent.

Results may be visible after the second session with maximum results visible 8-12 weeks after the last session.
