"Ok! So, I was referred here after explaining to my nail tech the lengthy process and billion steps I have taken to get my skin healthy (dermatologist, internal medicine for hormones, estheticians,, holistic Doctors). I was skeptical as previously stated I’ve tried everything... so here I go again making another appointment for a consultation (at this point I’m ready for an entire face transplant lol).I was immediately impressed with the relationship of Dr.Desai and Dr. Patel. Immediately they make you feel in the most professional way of just meeting up with a longtime friend. Super easy to let your guard down due to the genuine personalities of both Doctors. Very transparent with the procedures success rate, also non conventional treatments and the inclusion on different routes to take to accomplish the outcome desired. I have now visited 3 times. Although there has not been much change in my skin, this does not stop the Doctors confident approach. Switching up the different breaking edge technology they are not afraid to use everything the office has at their finger tips. I truly feel great and this Duo definitely delivers the wow factor! I will keep y’all posted in my journey, I feel confident Dr. Desai and Dr. Patel can figure out this face! lol"- A.P. / Yelp / Sep 30, 2021
"I went in for a little lip enhancement. I did not really know what to expect or what I really wanted just knew I wanted my upper lip bigger. The staff and Doctor went over everything and made me feel so comfortable and recommended what they felt would give me what I wanted. The injections were almost painless and the outcome was everything I wanted! Will definitely be back!"- J.G. / Google / Sep 30, 2021

How it works
The Limelight IPL treatment uses advanced non-laser IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology. We gently deliver precise amounts of light energy to the area being treated. The light passes through the skin’s surface to help release stubborn sun spots, reduce blood flow to broken capillaries and stimulate collagen production. The new collagen softens the appearance of the skin, reducing the effects of aging such as: enlarged pores, fine lines and wrinkles. It is also extremely effective in treating redness and acne associated with rosacea.

IPL Photofacial FAQ
How much does IPL cost?
Your complexion issues are unique, which means the cost of IPL treatments will depend on your goals. Renew Laser & Skin sometimes offers special deals, and we take several payment methods. During your initial visit, we can help estimate your cost and determine the number of treatments needed for optimal results.
How quick are the results from IPL?
Improvements can usually be seen following your initial IPL treatment, but optimal results develop about one month after a full series of treatments is completed. It is common for your skin to see different responses following every treatment session. You should see gradual improvements in blotchiness, redness, sun spots, and age spots over time.
What are the possible side effects of IPL?
You may experience mild, temporary side effects, like redness, swelling, blisters, crusting, or bruising. These go away on their own in a few days. Your skin will be sun sensitive, and excessive sun exposure will affect the results of the procedure. You should also wear sunscreen to prevent issues, like redness and spots.
Do I need to prep for IPL?
To prepare for an IPL treatment, patients are asked to avoid sun exposure and self-tanners for 2 – 4 weeks prior to the appointment. You may be asked to stop using minocycline, tetracycline, doxycycline, or Retin-A/Renova several days before your treatment, and may be asked to take aspirin or ibuprofen 5 – 7 days before your procedure to reduce inflammation, which lowers your chance of bruising. You also need to use sunscreen between sessions.
Why should I get multiple IPL sessions?
We recommend getting a series of IPL treatments to deliver gradual improvements to your complexion. Every treatment will fade surface irregularities and spots. A series of treatments also allow for longer-lasting improvements.
