What is PRP?
PRP is a natural treatment that separates growth factors from your blood, that can be injected into an area of the body that needs collagen or tissue repair. Platelets are cells in blood that help tissue heal and grow new cells.
PRP is an extraordinary treatment because it uses your body’s own healing power to jump start tissue healing and transformation, as well as collagen regrowth. The procedure is simple, non-surgical, and completely hypoallergenic.
PRP has been known to be used in the face for facial rejuvention, in the scalp for hair restoration and in the vaginal area for woman's health. Learn more about how PRP can be beneficial.
What is the PRP Facelift?
The PRP Facelift is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that involves injecting PRP (platelet rich plasma) into tissue around the face. Plasma results from the breakdown of your blood once it has been centrifuged down to its parts. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is your blood plasma that has been enriched with platelets. Platelets contain numerous growth factors to help stimulate collagen and tissue regeneration. This also helps with improved blood circulation.

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers for Adding Youthful Volume
The first step of The PRP Facelift is the application of an injectable hyaluronic acid dermal filler like Restylane or Juvederm. One of the two main components of the facial aging process is the loss of volume due to a reduction of facial bone, muscle and fat in an area known as “the apples of the cheeks”.
Dermal fillers add youthful volume to the face, while keeping a natural appearance. Hyaluronic acid fillers do not paralyze facial muscles like Botox, so volume is added without inhibiting facial movement or expressions.
How It Works
It starts with a simple blood draw. We take that blood and put it into a centrifuge that separates the red-blood cells from the platelets. These platelets contain all of your growth factors. After being injected the platelets will start to regenerate the tissue in about 2 weeks, although some have noticed it sooner, and continue to regenerate all the way up to 6 months. The effects of the platelets can last up to two years depending on the patient. This is a very safe procedure with virtually no side effects since you are utilizing materials from your own body.
Is there any downtime?
There is very little down time. Some clients may experience some swelling for approximately 1-3 days. Some may experience some bruising, but this is rare.
What to expect after the PRP Facelift treatment
You should expect more youthful and healthy looking skin. Also, expect tissue repair and growth in all areas where the platelets were placed. You should experience tightening and thickening of the skin along with wrinkle reduction. Your skin texture will appear smoother. Most clients report an increased vibrancy and glow to their skin.
